We... read more had Kathy as our guide while Kyle was out of town and she was terrific, was very encouraging on the few spots that were trickier to manage and had tons of knowledge about Cape Town, table mountain and everything in between. hot coffee and snacks at the top was the perfect way to end a challenging but immensely rewarding hike. Highly recommend !!!! And obviously incredible views. Don’t miss this one.

Having gone on a big walk at Cape Point the previous day our muscles were already a bit fatigued when we started, but Ian made sure we were encouraged along at times and allowed plenty of rest stops. Despite having to change hike location and not having clear views at the top due to weather, it was a very memorable experience.
You really do need a good level of fitness and courage to tackle the terrain as our walk at Camps Bay was alot of vertical steps. If you do this hike, do yourself a favour and change into a clean shirt, climb the extra 2 sets of stairs to go to la Belle resturant on the Camps Bay waterfront for a lovely brunch and ocean views. ( The toilets there are super luxurious).

Even though we had only just met our fellow hikers at the start of the walk, the atmosphere was so friendly & relaxed that it really did just feel like hiking with friends. Despite the scrambling elements of the walk we felt very safe the whole time. We also really loved learning about the plants growing on the route on our way up, which Kyle took the time to point out. 10/10 recommend!

I climbed a mountain today. You know how amazing it feels to say that? The pictures I got are unbelievable and the ones Martin took of me are magazine worthy! I absolutely loved it! Martin was knowledgeable and I am so glad I didn’t decide to hike this by myself. I would have most definitely gotten blisters from the blister bush I believe it’s called? Martin was motivating and funny and inspired the group to push ourselves.
I plan on returning and trying another trail with Martin. He was even sweet enough to direct me to other experts in areas that I was curious about (fishing etc)
I highly recommend ❤️
