I was supposed to do Table Mountain but once he found out my... read more fitness level he recommended Lions Head. I can say that I would not have made it up Table Mountain. I did the Lions Head hike which was very challenging but very breathtaking once I reached the top. I would not have been able to do it alone without Kyle. I truly felt I was hiking with a friend. He ensured that I was completely safe and very encouraging when I felt like giving out (although he didn’t know that ). I highly recommend starting with this hike, having that discussion on fitness level with him so he can see where you’re better off. I didn’t get the chance to do Table Mountain but I can guarantee you that Lions Head is awesome. I greatly appreciated the refuel in the middle of the trip with nuts and fruits because it gave me energy to continue the hike. There was also coffee and rusk at the top which felt like a little sweet treat for actually making it. Overall, highly recommend experienced. Well with the money. DO IT!!!!!

  For our stay in Cape Town, my girlfriend and I booked 2 hikes with Kyle. On the 29th of November we hiked Table Mountain and on the 8th of December... read more we did Lion's Head. Kyle is super flexible and adjusts the hikes/routes to the level of those in the group. Initially we had booked the 2 hikes with the dates switched around, but as weather conditions changed Kyle recommended switching the hikes around which in the end resulted in amazing views and comfortable conditions going up.

Kyle created a group chat with the other hikers the day before going up Table Mountain. Meeting early was definitely worth it and I can’t think of a better start to your day. The group was nice and Kyle made sure to give everybody individual attention. We took the India Venster trail, which was challenging but again worth it. I can highly recommend booking your Cape Town hikes with Kyle and want to say thanks again for the great memories!

  This was an awesome experience & Kyle expertly helped us navigate the weather! Would definitely recommend if you want to stay off the busier routes.
