From his activity description there would be some optional items such as food, coffee, etc. However, he didn’t ask us anything prior the tour except the optional pick up and drop off service which was 200 R per person. My place was close to the hiking start point so I didn’t book this service. So basically the 45 USD only included the guidance and some introduction of table mountain while many other tour guides would include the pick up, breakfast, or even just a little food or water. On the way up was fine. His wife nicely helped me to conquer my fear and eventually got some really cool photos at the edge of the cliff. We didn’t stay at the top for long and started walking back to the start point. Honestly I was really hoping we could take the cable cart down. When we were going down, another tour member (not my friend) and I had difficulties to get down the steep path as we had no experience in mountain hiking. Kyle rushed us at the beginning and kept saying “hurry up”, which made me a bit nervous. We were far behind the team although we tried our best. In the half of the way, he finally slowed down and waited for us in the front. My friend (who came with me) also participated in another tour to lion Head the day before this one. His experience was way much better than this. It’s still a happy ending as I was satisfied with what I have achieved that day, but Im not very satisfied with the service we paid for. It was just okay.
