I also learned a ton about the natural plant and animal life that lives on table mountain itself and got to try out some South African snacks.   I contacted Kyle after contacting a few guides to assist with going up Table Mountain, particularly up Platteklip Gorge. I was traveling alone and I am afraid of heights, so... read more I did not want to hike on my own. Kyle was very responsive and was extremely kind from the very beginning. A group of us hiked up Table mountain and Kyle was so patient throughout the entire time. I was definitely the less experienced one in the group, but I never felt like it because Kyle purposely took enough breaks for me to be able to keep up with everyone. At the same time, he still kept us moving so that it is enjoyable for the others as well. I highly recommend Kyle. Plus he shares fun facts and brings tea!
