We begin with a warm welcome and an overview of our route, setting the stage for a safe yet epic adventure. Lion’s Head is renowned for offering some of the most scenic views in Cape Town, providing a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the peninsula, city and Table Mountain.

What to Expect:

• Spectacular Views: As we hike, you’ll quickly see why Lion’s Head is celebrated as one of the most beautiful vantage points in Cape Town.
• Engaging Insights: Our expert guide will share fascinating insights into the local nature, tips on climbing, fauna & Flora and all-around great company, ensuring your experience is both enjoyable and informative.
• Sunrise/Sunset Magic: We plan our hike to reach the summit just before sunrise or sunset, allowing you to witness the unique and ever-changing colours of the sky—each experience is different and equally breathtaking.
• Exciting Descent/Ascent: We’ll descend (or ascend, depending on the time of day) in the dark using head torches, adding an exciting dynamic to your hike. The city lights below will create a stunning backdrop.

Important Details:

• Duration: Approximately 3 to 3.5 hours round trip
• Start Time: Depending on the time of year, we typically begin 1.5 hours before sunrise or 2 hour before sunset.
• WhatsApp Coordination: Once booked, we’ll add you to a dedicated WhatsApp group where we’ll share all the finer details, including the exact start location and time, what to wear and bring.
• Pick-Up Service: We also offer a convenient & safe return pick-up service most of the time—please inquire about availability.
