He was knowledgeable about everything and flexible throughout. We had different athletic levels within our group and he was able to make it a great expert for everyone and get us great views. Kyle gave us great recommendations about other activities and places to see in Cape Town and was even so helpful in offering assistance and recommendations when our safari was suddenly cancelled. Overall, Kyle made this such a top notch experience. Highly recommend to everyone!!! You will not regret it!!!

Maoti said it was amazing - the views, the descriptions/explanations, and his level of fitness... but he said the best part was the conversation and companionship. He said Kyle was a "really nice guy, and we shared a lot about being fathers and our lives... it was really great."

He is so friendly and motivating, is a naturally great coach (helped us step by step to climb the tricky bits),... read more knows a lot about the flora and fauna and animals (I loved that he pointed out interesting things and told stories), he was very considerate of our group’s fitness level, the amount of breaks we took was just right. He had us fill in a little questionaire about our hiking experience when we booked, which I think is a great idea, and he obviously taylors each hike to the group’s level. All in all a wonderful experience!

From being encouraging and optimistic, to giving tips on getting up mountain successfully and pointing our flora and fauna along the way it was... read more a great experience. Even though, the weather prevented us from going up the mountain fully (though the forecast said sunny!) they had an alternate plan. I waited over a week for the "perfect" day to go on the mountain, so I encourage you to be flexible and know that you're in good hands and they will make the best of it, whatever the weather is for the day you choose because they want you to have a good experience. An extra goldstar to Kyle for identifying the plants and flowers I sent him pictures of after the hike! A heads-up if you want to be a part of a small group, we were a medium group of about 13 and a few people cancelled at the last minute. Would happily do another tour with Kyle!
