Arguably one of the best stream fishing destinations in the world, the Cape streams offers some of the most exceptional fly fishing just 45 minutes from Cape Town and 20 minutes from the Winelands. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this adventure blends the excitement of world-class dry fly fishing mixed with the back drop of stunning and famous the Cape Floral Kingdom.
We also offer Salt water fly fishing and lure fishing on the on a world class estuary, this is done a skiff and small boat to get you into the best areas on the estuary, only 30 mins from Cape Town.
We gear up and start with an introduction to casting techniques and how to fish these pristine rivers, setting you up for an incredible fly-fishing experience in the Cape streams. You’ll fish for wild trout in the crystal clear waters that flow through the breathtaking Worcester and Paarl mountains, we use light tackle to stalk and sight fish. The excitement of the catch is unmatched, we captured in a photo before being releasing them back into the river. Pick-up or meet-up is usually at 8pm. We fish till around 12:30/1:00pm and break for lunch on the river. (A light lunch and river snacks featuring local and organic South African foods will be provided.) We then hike back and done around 1:30pm.
