Villiera Wines our first stop.
You will be welcomed with a MCC (South African Champaign) tasting and experience a full cellar tour of a working winery as well as an MCC cellar. We sit down to enjoy a selection of local artisan cheeses and start our first Wine tasting under the canopy of huge oak trees in the scenic courtyard while you learn in traditional wine etiquette.
Kanonkop Wine Estate. Arguably one of South African prestigious wines estate and known for its award-winning Paul Sauer Bordeaux style blend and Pinotage red wine.
We get a peek into South Africa’s best wine maker’s cellar and taste a variety of top wines.
Babylonstoren Wines Estate:
One of our favourites and just all-round stunning estate. We start our morning with a walk through the magnificent French inspired organically grown gardens.
The gardens comprise of 15 clusters of vegetable area, fruit, nuts, citrus, berries, bees, herbs, ducks & chickens and more. With excellent wine, and a world-famous deli, this is a perfect place to acquire gifts and produce that is local and unique.
Delaire Graff Wine Estate
One of South Africa’s most prestigious wine estates and known as the ‘Jewel of the Cape Winelands” its magical views and tranquil setting will take your breath away. Delaire boasts one of the biggest collections of art in the country and is spread throughout every corner of the estate. Beauty, fine dining, and wine is our focus here.
Anthonij Rupert Wine Estate
Rupert Wines Estate comprises two historic farms: L’Ormarins and Anthonij Rupert Estate. The Estate houses two tasting rooms, four state-of-the-art cellars, a lovingly tended rose garden, vineyards, the Franschhoek Motor Museum and the Drakenstein Stud Farm. Not to mention the world-famous collection of some of South Africa’s best premium wines.
