Booking a private hike allows you a completely customised version of this incredible experiences. We have free rain to explore the secret trails of Table Mountain nature reserve, or surrounding mountain reservers like Stellenbosch & Franschheok, offering an exclusive experience away from the crowds. Our hike lasts approximately 3 hours, with a start time typically around 7:00 am, depending on the time of year.

What to Expect:

• Scenic Trails: if your fitness allows, we’ll guide you along lesser-known, private routes known mostly by the local community. These trails are less traveled, more scenic, and offer stunning wildlife and phenomenal viewpoints.
• Flora & Fauna: Along the way, you’ll discover the rich biodiversity of Table Mountain, including its unique birdlife and the renowned Fynbos belt, which comprises 10% of the world’s plant species. Cape Town is home to one of the world’s six floral kingdoms, entirely within its borders.
• Regular Stops: We take breaks to soak in the beauty and enjoy freshly brewed organic coffee or tea made in a traditional Bialetti (Italian coffee pot), paired with local South African rusks (optional & extra on request only). All of this with the best views of the Mother City and the Peninsula.

Important Details:

• Cable Car Descent: Our descent is usually via the cable car (Table Mountain only), but in case of adverse weather or wind conditions, we may need to hike down.
• Weather Considerations: Weather plays a significant role in our hike scheduling, so please keep some flexibility in your itinerary.
